Memorial Day OWH Blog Hop

Welcome back Operation Write Home blog hoppers! I am so excited to be apart of OWH's Memorial Day blog hop.  This organization really knows how to support our troops.  One of my favorite parts of making cards for this organization and for our troops is reading all of their notes (check out some awesome inspiration at the Hero Blog). Also, if you want to start at the beginning of the blog hop check out the Stars and Stamps OWH blog.

I also want to take some time to say thank you to all of our military men and women and their families - especially those who have given their lives in service to our country.

Pearl Harbor

Here is my red, white, and blue "missing you" contribution to the blog hop.  I thought it would be really neat to make a card with tags that the hero can write short notes on.  The loved ones can then take a note from their hero wherever they go.

Thanks for stopping by. The next stop on the hop is Cathy's blog Monkeydreamz.

Have a very blessed Memorial Day!

  31. Hi Megan Sweetie....
I am Country Wings your newest follower. I can't wait to see what you might share next.

I have never made a card, but you blog hop ladies have so inspired me. I love the little pocket idea with the little messages tucked inside. You are so creative my friend.

I am going to try and make a few cards to submit to the soldiers also. What a wonderful thing that we can do to make their day a little bit of sunshine. I have been ill with my lungs for the last month, can't be outside, so this is something that I could do from my chair inside. Thank you for the inspiration my friend.

Please stop by and say hi. I would be so honored if you decided to follow my blog as well.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
